Roofing with fiber-cement

Around ten Ecuadorian workers have lost their lives while installing asbestos free fibre-cement panels. The workers who were used to walking on chryso-cement roofing panels (with chrysotile), panels which can support their weight, were caught off guard by the asbestos free fibre-cement panel's low mechanical capacity, approximately one third of that of chryso-cement panels.
